A client’s Pipeline Safety Program team managed various programs to confirm the safety of its pipeline system. These initiatives involved a high degree of stakeholder interaction among multiple teams and residents along the pipeline and the client desired a system to help them manage these efforts through to successful completion. Celerity tailored the OLIVER Stakeholder Management System to help the team consistently advise customers and residents along the pipeline of potential pipeline encroachments and survey initiatives, educate the residents, obtain right-of-way as necessary, clear the encroachments where needed, and successfully close both tasks. The system enabled the team manage all the issues, work-steps, communications, and documentation between client and residential stakeholders as well as to track progress by pipeline segment and address. Ultimately, the OLIVER SMS allowed the client to more effectively manage the encroachments and survey program thus reducing the risk of resident dissatisfaction.
