As the result of a massive natural gas leak, 8,300 residents in an affected area were forced to temporarily relocate. Celerity was asked by our utility client to assist with data management associated with resident relocation and claims reimbursement. Our teams lead a multi-faceted data reconciliation and integrity restoration effort related to claims processing and advised on new process implementations and best practices. Teams tracked individual resident resolution utilizing custom databases, which were also used to generate summary reports on claim resolution progress to be distributed to stakeholders and the public. With Celerity’s assistance, our client was able to expedite the reviewing and processing of over 59,000 reimbursements totaling over $500 million.
