Celerity assisted a utility client with quantifying outstanding payments related to thousands of Special Facilities contracts - agreements entered into between an electricity customer and the utility for infrastructure beyond what the utility typically provides (e.g., a transformer). Celerity collected over 10,000 agreements along with supporting delivery forms, digitized the documents, and uploaded them to a database to support the review and calculation process. The team reviewed and coded the agreements for key information and the database calculated outstanding amounts owed along with interest. Celerity generated upload files for all key data to the clients SAP system. Celerity also analyzed the entire contract review and payment process, working with all stakeholders to identify areas of improvement and obtain approval of the new process. Celerity's assistance helped the client cost-effectively and quickly centralize dispersed information, quantify the amount of funds due customers, and minimize the risk associated with uncontrolled information.
